Conference Speakers, Past and Present

Our conference is an occasion to foster greater cooperation among Catholic clergy, religious, and laity who share our deepest concerns for the Catholic cause, for the restoration of orthodoxy, for the conversion of our Republic, and for the salvation of souls. Not every speaker is part of Saint Benedict Center’s school of thought, which means that the event can be a powerful catalyst for uniting traditional and conservative Catholics in working for these common goals.

Past conferences have featured such speakers as Rev. Lawrence Smith, Rev. Nicholas Gruner, S.T.L., S.T.D. (Cand.) (renowned Fatima scholar), Rev. Paul Wickens, Rev. Stephen Somerville, Mr. Gary Potter (Catholic historian and journalist), Mr. Charles Coulombe (Historian, Lecturer, Knight Commander of the Order St. Sylvester, author of Vicars of Christ), Dr. Robert Hickson (Retired Professor, Joint Special Operations University, U.S. Special Operations Command; Retired Professor, U.S. Air Force Academy; Former Green Beret), Mr. Joseph Sobran (nationally syndicated columnist), Mr. C. Joseph Doyle (Director of the Massachusetts Catholic Action League), Mr. Joseph Kung (President of the Cardinal Kung Foundation), Mrs. Anne Cillis, Mr. Steven Mahowald, and Mr. Jim Condit Jr., in addition to our own religious.
